iTunes Backup Requires Encryption ?

After installed the latest version Syncios Data Transfer on your computer, sometimes you may get a message that Syncios asks you to turn off "iTunes Bakcup Requires Encryption" option. The reason why we asks you to do this is for speeding up the efficiency of loading your messages, call logs and other contents on your iOS devices. If you don't want to disable it, then please ignore the message and wait patiently when Syncios is loading your iOS contents.

To improve loading speed, please follow the steps below:

Part 1: Syncios Manager

1. You have enabled "iTunes Backup Requires Encryption" on device.

Occasion 1You have not encrypted iTunes backup yet. Syncios Manager will show you the messages 1. Unlock your iOS device, find "iTunes Bakcup Requires Encryption" option under Settings and turn off it.

Click "Retry" after you turned off the option. And you need to encrypt your iTunes backup on iTunes if you don't (see message 2).

TIPS:Launch iTunes, connect your device to it, choose your device, check "encrypt iPhone(local) backup", set up the backup password and click "Retry".

Occasion 2You already set up the iTunes backup password. Syncios Manager will show you the messages 1 above. Unlock your iOS device, find "iTunes Bakcup Requires Encryption" option under Settings and turn off it.

Click "Retry" after you turned off the option. Or you can click "Cancel" to directly enter the iTunes backup password to decrypt the iTunes backup and speed up loading process (see message 3).

2.You have not enabled "iTunes Backup Requires Encryption" on device.

Occasion 1You have not encrypted iTunes backup yet. Syncios Manager will directly read your phone data with full speed, after all the data was successfullt loaded, you can easily backup and restore your iOS devices.

Occasion 2You already set up the iTunes backup password. Syncios Manager will show you the message 4 below, directly enter the iTunes backup password to decrypt the iTunes backup and speed up loading process.

Please note that after you entered the password, your iTunes backup will be decrpted, so you don't need to enter password next time.

TIPS:Click "Clear backup encryption", Syncios will directly wipe your iTunes backup password and load your data. You can choose this option when you forget your iTunes backup password.
