Tips: For instance, if you need to backup old phone messages to computer, go to Information > Messages (for an iOS device) or go to SMS (for an Android device) under this old device, then select desired messages and click on Backup to save the selected messages to computer.
Restore Saved Backup to LG G8
Step 3: To import media files or restore a previous backup from computer to LG G8, just choose a tab and click on Import/Add/Recover option to import or restore data.
Tips: For instance, if you want to restore a previous messages backup from computer, go to SMS under LG G8 device, then click on Recover. Syncios will show you the backup list, then you choose a backup from the list and click on OK to restore messages to LG G8.

Step 2: Once your phones are connected successfully, you should check their positions. You should make sure the source device is on the left while the target device is on the right. Here LG G8 is on the right as the target device. Click on Next after it's done.
Step 3: Select contents you need and unselect contents you don't need. Click on Next. Syncios will start loading the selected contents. Wait patiently, it takes a while at the first time. Step 3: Select contents you need from the selected iTunes backup. Click on Next and wait for data loading. After that, click on Next to launch the transfer. Keep LG G8 connected well during transfer. By the way, if you use iTunes app to restore the backup to device, the data will be overwritten. Therefore, you should restore iTunes backup to your device if you don't want the original data on LG G8 being overwritten.
Step 1: Similarly, with another mode of Syncios Data Transfer, you are able to restore data from iCloud backup tp LG G8 without iOS devices. Connect LG G8 to computer. Open the program, choose Restore mode and tap iCloud Backup option.

Step 2: A pop-up window appears, and you are required to log in with your iCloud account. Choose a iCloud backup to download and return. Click on Next to move on.
Step 3: Select contents you need from the selected iCloud backup. Click on Next and wait for data loading. After that, click on Next to launch the transfer. Keep LG G8 connected well during transfer. Restoring iCloud backup to your device will not overwrite the original data on your LG G8.
