If you've gotten yourself a new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you just want to transfer everything from your old iPhone to new new iPhone 6 Plus , including applying all your game saves or other app data.
Syncios Data Transfer is an ideal tool for you to move data from one device to another in just one click. However, the shortcoming is that when it comes to app, it only copies App itself, but not the app data inside, like game progress. Here we will show you to transfer the app data from one iDevice to another for free.
Even though iTunes usually does a good job backing up your data, you may just plug in your old device, backup with iTunes, and then restore the backup file of your old device to your new iPhone 6. The new phone will be look exactly like your old iPhone, no quality loss. However, this method is not 100% reliable. When it comes to selective backup and restore, it’s not a good choice. You would only want to restore data for a few apps. Restoring the whole backup would even take you hours. Just want to pull your save data out of an individual app and back them up on your computer, then move it to your new device. Read on to know how.
Before we start, we should note this works for any iOS device. It’s highly recommended to do a whole backup to avoid any surprises. So if you want to back up and transfer data for iPads, iPhones, or between the two, this works. To manually backup and transfer data, we're going to use the Windows program Syncios. There is no need to jailbreak your iPhone if you use Syncios. Here's how to do it.
What you will need
Kind Note: If you would to selectively backup ios built-in app (such as the calendar and email app) , your Ios device has to be jailbroken to grant the permission to get access to system directories.
Download Syncios if you haven’t got on on your PC.
Plug in your old iPhone until Windows Explorer show up your device. Then start up Syncios and you should see a default screen like the one below, displaying the device information.
Click on the Apps entry on the left side. Within the tab, every third party application on your device will be listed here. We are going to walk you through to locate the data for Candy Crash and transfer it off your old iPhone and onto new iPhone 6 Plus. Navigate to Candy Crash in the list. (Tips, you can click on Name column, the app list will be sorted in alphabetical order, it’s easier to locate to the app you are searching for). In the Action column, you will see 3 icons, click on preview icon, enter Documents folder, that’s where your saved data and game saves are located. Export Documents folder to your desktop or another directory that you can easily archive them.
Plug in new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus and simply reverse the process: navigate to the application data folder and then drag and drop the backup Documents folder from the computer to iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
