Syncios D-Savior FAQ

1. Is it reliable to use Syncios D-Savior to recover lost data?

Syncios D-Savior is a safe choice that users can download with confidence. It fully complies with legal regulations and will not leave any records on your device while helping you recover your data. This tool is not only powerful, but it also fully respects the user's data security.

2. What types of files can Syncios D-Savior recover?

If photos, audios, videos, archives or documents are accidentally deleted or lost, no matter what the file format is, Syncios D-Savior can help you recover them. It supports 1000+ file recovery in different formats.

3. How long does it usually take to scan for lost files?

The scan time depends mainly on how much content is stored on your device. The whole process may take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. If you see the files you want during scanning, you can also choose to pause or stop the scan to save time.

4. What is the success rate of Syncios D-Savior in recovering files?

The success rate will be affected by some factors, such as file type, reason for loss and device status. But overall, Syncios D-Savior has a high success rate to help you recover lost data. Remember not to write other data at the first moment of data loss, and restore in time to have the highest success rate.

5. How to avoid overwriting lost data?

To prevent overwriting original data, Syncios D-Savior gives you the option to save recovered data to other places, such as a computer hard drive or an external drive. This is a key step to ensure data security.

6. Can I recover data directly to the original disk?

In theory, it is possible, but in order to avoid overwriting deleted data and causing permanent loss, it is recommended not to add new information to the original disk before confirming that all data has been successfully recovered. Therefore, it is best to choose another storage location for recovery.

7. Why does the scanned file capacity sometimes appear larger than the actual disk?

This may be caused by multiple formatting or partition changes, or it may be that abnormal files are detected. The specific reason needs to be determined through further analysis.

8. Can Syncios D-Savior recognize data on mobile phones?

Due to the limitations of smartphone systems, the software cannot directly access the internal hardware of the phone.

However, if the lost data is saved in an SD card, you can remove the SD card and connect it to the computer through a card reader to use Syncios D-Savior to recover the files.

For iOS devices, if there is no SD card, you can consider using Syncios Data Recovery to recover deleted data on iPhone or iPad.

9. Why can't the recovered file be opened or is garbled?

If this happens, you can try to scan again in Deep Recovery Mode. If it still cannot be opened or garbled, the data may have been damaged. There are usually two situations in which data is damaged: being overwritten by new data or discontinuous storage space due to file fragmentation. For pictures, videos, and file formats, you can try to use Syncios D-Savior for one-click repair.

10. Why are some photos damaged or incomplete after recovery?

This is usually related to data loss, damage, or problems in the storage process. You can try to use Syncios D-Savior for one-click repair.

11. Why are the recovered file names different from the original file names?

This is because Deep Recovery Mode scans the entire disk and classifies all found files by format without retaining the original file names. You can use the preview function to check whether these files are what you need.

12. Why can't some files be previewed?

Failure to preview often means that the data may be damaged. In this case, even if it is recovered, it may not be opened normally or garbled. Data damage may be caused by overwriting or disk fragmentation.

Data overwrite: After the file is deleted, the space occupied by the original file can be used by other files. If you store files in this disk at this time, the data may be overwritten.

File fragmentation: Due to disk fragmentation, the storage space is not continuous when the file is stored. After deletion or formatting, there is no file allocation table, and it is impossible to know how many segments the file was originally divided into and where they were stored, resulting in unrecoverable.

13. Can I recover data from a formatted disk?

Yes. Syncios D-Savior can recover data from an empty disk by deep scanning the disk before it is overwritten.
